Brooke Reasoner Drives 5 Runners Home In Plano West Varsity Wolves Victory Over Plano Varsity Wildcats

Brooke Reasoner drove in five runs on one hit to lead Plano West Varsity Wolves past Plano Varsity Wildcats 8-1 on Tuesday. Reasoner hit a grand slam to center field in the third inning, scoring four runs, and hit a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning, scoring one.

 

Kendall Prowell struck out 11 batters on the day. The pitcher also gave up five hits and one run over seven innings while walking one.

 

Plano West Varsity Wolves jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Abby Jennings singled, scoring one run, and Reasoner hit a grand slam to center field.

 

Cadence Charland took the loss for Plano Varsity Wildcats. The starter went five innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on eight hits, striking out three and walking one.

 

Jennings and Abby Cuellar each collected three hits for Plano West Varsity Wolves. Plano West Varsity Wolves were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Reasoner made the most plays with 13.

 

Aubrey Zhang set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Plano Varsity Wildcats with two hits in three at bats. Darby DeJean went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Plano Varsity Wildcats turned one double play in the game.
