Layney Conner and Kesler each collected two hits to lead the Wolves offensively, while Ava Fuquay and Kayla Johnson each drove in a run. Plano West played clean defense with no errors, and Chloe Chidziva led the team with four fielding chances.

In the second game of the day, the Wolves fell to Flower Mound 7-1. Flower Mound built an early lead with two runs in the second inning before adding five more runs in the third behind several RBI singles.

The Wolves closed the tournament with a competitive matchup against Van Alstyne, ultimately falling 9-6 in a game that featured plenty of offense.

Van Alstyne jumped ahead early with four runs in the first inning and added three more in the second. Plano West responded with a strong five-run rally in the top of the third.
