Sadie Kilmer’s Big Day Propels Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves Past Rock Hill JV

Sadie Kilmer drove in four runs on three hits to lead Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves past Rock Hill JV 12-5 on Friday. Kilmer tripled in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the third inning, scoring one.

 

Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after Penny Peterson drew a walk, scoring one run, Ivana Farias tripled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored one run.

 

Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Kilmer singled down the right field line, Kayla Johnson walked, Sydney Turano walked, and Peterson walked, each scoring one run.

 

Turano began the game for Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves. The righty surrendered 11 hits and five runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out four and walking two. Rock Hill pitcher stepped in the circle first for Rock Hill JV. The pitcher surrendered eight hits and 12 runs (11 earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking 10.

 

Farias collected two hits for Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves in two at bats. Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 11 walks for the game. Brynley Reeves, Johnson, and Peterson led the team with two bases on balls each. Johnson stole two bases. Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves ran wild on the base paths, piling up five stolen bases for the game.

 

Rock Hill JV piled up 11 hits in the game. #5 drove the middle of the lineup, leading Rock Hill JV with two runs batted in. #5 went 3-for-3 on the day. #1 and #5 each collected three hits for Rock Hill JV. #123 collected two hits for Rock Hill JV in two at bats. #15 stole two bases. Rock Hill JV ran wild on the base paths, collecting five stolen bases for the game.
