Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves Stymied By Prosper Eagles JV

 

Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves had trouble keeping up with Prosper Eagles JV in a 9-2 loss on Thursday.

 

Prosper Eagles JV got on the board in the first inning after Reese Bruno doubled, scoring one run.

 

A walk by Giuliana Parks, and a single by Bella Lopez helped Prosper Eagles JV extend their early lead in the second.

 

Talia Chansley earned the win for Prosper Eagles JV. The pitcher surrendered five hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two and walking two. Ava Fuquay took the loss for Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves. The hurler went two innings, giving up five runs (four earned) on three hits, striking out one and walking five.

 

Lola Brown provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Kate Hatfield, Aubrie Bowden, Brown, Aderes Villela, and Kendall Prowell each collected one hit for Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves.

 

Leadoff hitter Lopez led Prosper Eagles JV with two hits in three at bats. Prosper Eagles JV had patience at the plate, accumulating seven walks for the game. Prosper Eagles JV turned two double plays in the game. Prosper Eagles JV were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Lopez made the most plays with seven.
