Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves Roll Past Princeton

Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves won big over Princeton 13-4 on Friday.

 

Princeton tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a double by #14, a double by #11, and a single by #16.

 

Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves jumped into the lead in the top of the second when Layney Conner drew a walk, scoring one run, Ivana Farias drew a walk, scoring one run, and Kate Hatfield doubled, scoring two runs.

 

Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when Chloe Chidziva singled, scoring three runs, and a dropped third strike scored one run.

 

Sydney Turano started the game for Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves. The starter surrendered two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none.

 

Farias, Conner, Chidziva, and Hatfield each collected one hit for Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves. Farias, Chidziva, and Hatfield each drove in two runs for Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves. Sadie Kilmer paced Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up nine walks for the game.

 

#11 provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Princeton with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. #16, #1, #14, #10, and #11 each collected one hit for Princeton.
