Big Fourth Inning Leads Plano West Varsity Wolves Past Rock Hill
 
Plano West Varsity Wolves defeated Rock Hill 7-1 on Friday thanks in part to four runs in the fourth inning.  Abby Cuellar doubled, scoring one run, Brooke Reasoner doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.
 
Plano West Varsity Wolves got on the board in the first inning after Abby Jennings tripled, scoring two runs.
 
Plano West Varsity Wolves scored one run in the bottom of the sixth on a solo home run to center field by Reasoner on a full count.
 
Marlee Flanigan earned the win for Plano West Varsity Wolves. The hurler allowed two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out seven and walking two. Madilynn Grossman took the loss for Rock Hill. The starting pitcher went six innings, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on nine hits, striking out one and walking three.
 
Reasoner drove the middle of the lineup, leading Plano West Varsity Wolves with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Cuellar led Plano West Varsity Wolves with three hits in four at bats. Plano West Varsity Wolves didn't commit a single error in the field. Kaaya Mehta had the most chances in the field with 10.
 
Aliyana Sanchez and Grossman were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for Rock Hill. Sanchez went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in.
