Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves Stymied By Prosper Eagles JV

 

A sacrifice fly by Giuliana Parks put Prosper Eagles JV on the board in the top of the first.

 

Aderes Villela tripled to center field, which helped Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.

 

Prosper Eagles JV took the lead in the top of the second. Bella Lopez singled, scoring one run, to give Prosper Eagles JV the leg up, 2-1.

 

Prosper Eagles JV added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves committed an error, Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves committed an error, and Analia Dishong grounded out, each scoring one run.

 

Talia Chansley earned the win for Prosper Eagles JV. The starter allowed one hit and one run over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Emma Kesler took the loss for Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves. The starting pitcher went four innings, surrendering nine runs (four earned) on nine hits, striking out one and walking three.

 

Villela led Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves with one run batted in. The shortstop went 1-for-1 on the day.

 

Reese Bruno went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Prosper Eagles JV in hits. Dishong and Parks each drove in two runs for Prosper Eagles JV. Rylie Uland and Lopez each collected multiple hits for Prosper Eagles JV. Prosper Eagles JV were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Parks made the most plays with five.

 

Plano West Junior Varsity Wolves play at home on Saturday against McKinney Boyd in their next game.
