Plano West Bounces Back Against Rockwall

Sophomore Abby Chunn went three for four at the plate to lead Plano West to a 7-4 victory over Rockwall in their second tournament game on Friday. Chunn's bat was strong, sending a long ball over the centerfield fence and hitting a double and single for extra measure.

The Wolves put up runs in the fourth and sixth innings with a couple of insurance runs in the seventh. Chunn, Sophomore Abby Jennings, and Juniors Andrea Carrillo and Kaaya Mehta each collected multiple hits. The team drew five walks, including two each from Juniors Izzy Dunn and Elyse Mikes.

Junior Marlee Flanigan earned the win in the circle for Plano West and pitched a complete game. In the field, the Wolves committed only one error. The team has one final game in the tournament tomorrow.
