After a district championship and sweeps in two rounds of the playoffs, Plano West lost in a one-game playoff to Denton Guyer in the Regional Quarterfinals. West  couldn't manage to generate any string of offensive hits to get on the board. Their five singles came from Senior Adayah Wallace, Junior Carra Cleaves, and Sophomores Elyse Mikes, Kaaya Mehta, and Izzy Dunn.

Cleaves started in the circle for the Wolves. She pitched four and a third innings, giving up six runs on eight hits. Junior M.C. Pollacia entered in relief, giving up two runs on five hits.

The Wolves just didn't look like themselves. With little offense and three errors in the field, West's season ended in an uncharacteristic 8 to 0 loss. Still, the Wolves had a great season, going further into the state playoffs than any Plano West softball team since 2017.

*Post-season note: Denton Guyer advanced to the State Finals, falling in a 3-game series to Pearland.
