Wolves Win in Walk-Off Against Eaton

Plano West won in an exciting matchup against the Eaton Eagles. Eaton jumped out early, scoring 2 runs in the first and 5 in the second. The Wolves answered with 3 of their own in the second.

Sophomore Marlee Flanigan got the start for the Wolves, but after two, Junior Carra Cleaves entered the game to pitch for Plano West. Cleaves game up 2 runs in the fourth, but it wasn't enough for Eaton to overcome the Plano West walk-off that was headed their way.

Up to bat in the last inning, the Wolves mounted an exciting and impressive comeback, scoring 5 runs to win the game. The game winner came from a hard single by Senior Brooke Hilton that drove Freshman Abby Jennings across the plate for the game winner.

Plano West racked up 10 hits. Hilton, Cleaves, and Senior Adayah Wallace each had 2 hits to lead the Wolves offense.
