The Wolves managed a comeback victory after falling behind early in the game. Lewisville managed one run in each of the first two innings and a third run in the fifth. The Farmers were up 3 to 2 going into the sixth when Plano West turned on their bats in a 2-out rally to take control of the game.

The Wolves stayed close with a second inning RBI from Freshman Abby Chunn and a sacrifice fly from Freshman Abby Cuellar in the fourth. After Senior Adayah Wallace drove in a run in the sixth to tie the game, Sophomore Izzy Dunn pushed the Wolves into the lead, driving in two runs with a ground ball to center. Senior Brooke Hilton pushed across an insurance run with her hard ground ball to left field.

Junior Carra Cleaves was credited with the win for the Wolves in the circle. The fireballer pitched a complete game, allowing three runs on eight hits, walking one and striking out two. It was her second strikeout that ended the game, stranding two from Lewisville on the bases.

Plano West tallied up a total of eight hits for the night. Wallace and Cleaves led the team at the plate with two hits each.

The Wolves are now 3 and 0 in district play, currently tied for first with Flower Mound. Their next game will be Friday night, an away game against Marcus.
