The Wolves snatched the lead late in the game in a 3-1 victory over the Plano Wildcats on Friday night. The Wildcats jumped ahead in the top of the first with one run on a ground out RBI. A big fifth inning for the Wolves put them on top. Senior Adayah Wallace singled on a 2-2 count to drive home the go-ahead run.

Pitching was strong on both sides. Junior Carra Cleaves earned the victory on the rubber for Plano West. The pitcher allowed six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out four. She held them scoreless after the first. Plano Senior's pitcher gave up three hits and three runs, striking out one.

At the plate, it was a string of solo hits that led the team to victory. Hits came from Wallace, Cleaves, Sophomore Elyse Mikes, and Freshman Abby Chunn.

Next up is Lewisville at home on Tuesday night.
