Plano West Falls Short to Ridge Point Panthers

The Wolves' bats were strong against the Ridge Point Panthers on Friday, but it wasn't enough as Plano West fell 13 to 6. Plano West struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Ridge Point, giving up 13 runs.
Ridge Point got things moving in the first inning with one run across the plate. The Panthers pulled away fro good with 8 runs in the second inning.
The winning pitcher for Ridge Point pitched 2 innings, allowing 4 runs and striking out 4. Their relief pitcher threw 3 innings in relief out of the bullpen. Sophomore Marlee Flanigan took the loss in the circle for the Wolves. She lasted 2 innings with Freshman Abby Cuellar pitching in relief.
The Wolves tallied 6 hits with multiple hits by Senior Adayah Wallace and Sophomore Izzy Dunn. Wallace led the team going 3 for 3 at the plate.
