Dripping Springs Runs Away with Early Lead to Victory

Plano West watched their second tournament game of the day slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-2 loss to the Dripping Springs Tigers. The Wolves struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing the Tigers, giving up nine runs with four errors.

The Dripping Springs winning pitcher went for six innings, allowing two runs on only four hits, and striking out five. Junior M.C. Pollacia took the loss for Plano West.

Plano West bats were cold. Of the four hits tallied, freshman Abby Cuellar led the team, going 2 for 3 at the plate.
