Timber Creek Runs Away with Early Lead in Win

The Wolves fell behind early and couldn't make it back in a 13-1 loss to Timber Creek in their first game of the Turf Wars Tournament. Timber Creek got on the board quick with two runs in each of the first two innings.

Timber Creek's big inning came in the fourth, when they put up 5 runs. The numbers came from a home run, a ground out RBI, and a double.

Plano West never could find their groove at the plate, and didn't help themselves with 5 errors in the field for the game. Junior Adayah Wallace led the team in the batter's box, going 2 for 3, and scoring Plano West's only run on a double by Junior Brooke Hilton.
