Early Lead for Flower Mound Seals Fate for Plano West

Plano West watched the game slip away early, unable to recover in an 11-0 loss to Flower Mound. The Wolves struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Flower Mound.

Flower Mound scored in the first inning with 5 runs and never looked back. Freshman Carra Cleaves took the loss in the circle for Plano West. Five errors by the Wolves contributed to the FM scoring, and Flower Mound was flawless in the field.

Senior Izzy Artnak led Plano West on offense, going 2 for 2 at the plate. The only other hits of the game for the Wolves came from Junior Adayah Wallace, Senior Catie Kim, and Freshman Izzy Dunn. The Wolves fall to 2 and 3 in district play.
