Plano West Falls in Another Walk-off

A walk-off left Plano West on the wrong end of a 5-4 defeat to Hallsville High on Friday. Down 4-3 in the last inning, Hallsville doubled, scoring two runs to win the game. The Wolves lost despite out-hitting Hallsville nine to six.

Sophomore Carra Cleaves took the loss for the Wolves. The bulldog allowed six hits and five runs over four and a third innings, striking out three. Plano West socked one home run for the game. Freshman Andrea Carrillo had a four bagger in the fifth inning.

The Wolves managed nine hits for the game. Junior Adayah Wallace and Seniors Izzy Artnak and Catie Kim each managed two hits to lead the Wolves at the plate.
