Rockwall Captures Lead Early to Defeat Plano West

Plano West watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 8-3 loss to Rockwall HS on Friday. Rockwall got things moving in the first inning with a double in the first inning on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs. The Rockwall Lady Jackets scored five more runs in the second inning.

The Wolves managed three runs in the fourth inning. Junior Brooke Hilton sent one over the fence with two runners on base.

Rockwall's winning pitcher went five innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out four and walking zero. Freshman Marlee Flanigan took the loss for the Wolves. She went two innings, allowing seven runs on six hits.

Hilton, Senior Jamie Cendana, and Freshmen Elyse Mikes and Kaaya Mehta each managed one hit to lead the Wolves at the plate.
