Plano West Can't Catch Up to Bowie

The Plano West Wolves watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-1 loss to Bowie (Austin) on Saturday. Bowie scored on a single in the first inning. The Wolves struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Bowie, giving up 9 runs.

 

Bowie's starting pitcher went five innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out six and walking none. Freshman Marlee Flanigan took the loss for Plano West. She surrendered four runs on six hits over three innings, striking out three and walking none.

 

Sophomore Carra Cleaves, Freshman Isabella Dunn, and Senior Izzy Artnak each collected one hit for the Wolves.
