Plano West Defeats Westlake

In their third game of the annual Bowie-Westlake Tournament, Plano West defeated Westlake High. Sophomore Carra Cleaves was strong in the circle, striking out nine to keep Westlake hitters stifled. The Wolves fired up the offense in the second inning when Junior Adayah Wallace doubled, driving in two runs.

Cleaves pitched the Wolves to victory. The fireballer gave up one run on four hits over seven innings, striking out nine.

Wallace, Junior Brooke Hilton, Cleaves, Freshman Elyse Mikes, and Senior Jamie Cendana each managed one hit at the plate. The Wolves were sure-handed and did not commit a single error in the game.
